If Abbott and Costello Were Sitting Behind the Desk

Why have national news programs become a running gag of Who's on First?

"That's it for me today on Today. Tomorrow on Today we'll have all the latest from today. Also, tomorrow Today will have tips today for a better tomorrow. For all the latest on today and tomorrow, tune in to Today tomorrow.

So, from all of us hear at Today, we thank you for joining us today, and hope to see you again tomorrow on Today."

Ironically, this respectable profession meant to clearly identify and deliver what's going on in the world chose to name themselves an inescapable double entendre.

Somebody sittin' up in 30 Rockefeller thinkin' they be cute.
